  • Let us tell you that there are jammers in the areas around the Attari border, due to which no mobile phone services are available here.
  • There is a lot of crowd at the entrance of the attic border but once you take your place, there is no problem. The entrance has separate lines for women and separate lines for men.
  • Proper arrangements are made here for the audience to sit. Here select seats are reserved for women, while general seating is for men. The entire place here has been built like a stadium, due to which you can sit at any place and watch the ceremony.
  • There are different stands for foreign tourists here. It is the second best seat of the VIP seat. If you are a foreign national, then you must carry your passport to claim this seat.
  • Let me tell you that camera is allowed here. But you are not allowed to carry the bag. There are lockers available at a price of Rs 50 which are near the entrance.
  • There is also an entrance food stall where bottle water and some snacks are available.


5. How to reach Wagah Border Attari Amritsar

To get here, you can take a taxi or bus, which will drop you at the custom post.Apart from this, you can also take taxi facility from where you stop. Tourists can reach here by shared taxis available at the south-east gate of the Golden Temple, which charges Rs 120 per person. The cheapest option to reach the Wagah border is a bus from Amritsar to Attari which charges just Rs 30. Some local buses leave for Amritsar by custom post soon after the ceremony ends.
