The garden in front of this palace complex is known as anguri bag.Behind it, you can observe the residence of Emperor Shah Jahan and his two daughters Jahanaraand Roshanara.These buildings are built with white marble stones.Throughout the year, the fort experiences huge number of tourists.In the evening you can be entertained by a light and sound show here.Photography is prohibited there and so we are not able to show you that.You can also purchase the entry tickets of Taj Mahal and Agra Fort online.We will share the respective links in the description box.Next visit Fatehpur Sikri Fatehpur Sikri is a town in Agra districtof Indian state Uttar Pradesh.Great Mughal Emperor Akbar founded the city to celebrate his victory over Gujarat.The UNESCO World heritage site to visit here is the Fatehpur Sikri fort.Park your car just after entering through the outer gate of the city and from here avail government buses to go to the main fort entrance.The bus fare is Rs10 per person.The entry fee to Fatehpur Sikri fort is Rs. 50 for Indian tourists and Rs.610 for foreign tourists.No entry fee is needed for children up to 15 years.

Here, 1st you will see Diwan-i-am or the public audience hall of Emperor Akbar.Behind Diwan-i Am there is a big courtyard.In the middle of this courtyard stands the Diwan-i-Khas or the hall of private audience.The building is famous for its gorgeous central pillar.The pillar has a square base and octagonal shaft.On the left of Diwan-i-Khas stands the treasury building of Emperor Akbar.Behind it is Anup Talao.It is a tank in front of the khwabgah or the Emperor’s residence.The tank is made up of red sandstone.In front of Anup Talao, there is Panch Mahal built by Akbar.The palace was just outside the harem and was a summer retreat for royal family.Going from bottom to top each floor of this building is smaller than the other.Beside Panch Mahal, there is Khas Mahal or the Emperor’s private palace which is interconnectedto the Ladies harem.At the centre of the ladies harem there is the palace of Jodhabai, the Hindu Rajput wifeof Emperor Akbar.The palace is built around a courtyard.Surrounding the courtyard, there are the summer and winter Palaces of Jodhabai and a templewhere she used to worship God.Both the palaces are decorated with intricate Jali work.On one side of Jodhabai’s Palace, you can see the horse stable.At the end of this stable, there is Birbal’s Palace.Birbal’s palace is an example of gorgeous Mughal and Persian architecture and is oftwo stories.From the back of the harem complex, you can clearly see the fort entrance.Now this fort experiences thousands of visitors every day.Where to Stay Agra is a place where you don’t need to think about a hotel or resort.There are numerous hotels and resorts of different budget range are available all over the city.
