Jaipur 1st day Tour

On day 1 of Your tour first reach Jaipur from any part of the country.Jaipur can be reached both by train air or road.By air you can go to Jaipur International airport and by train you can reach to Jaipurstation. From Indian capital New Delhi Jaipur can be reached by road.It would take almost five and half hours to reach Jaipur from Delhi by road.This road trip is one of the best road trips in India.A local cab will charge around Rs. 3500 for this trip.At the entrance of Jaipur you can enjoy the beauty of Araballi hills.After reaching Jaipur check into your hotel.In the Afternoon start your tour with a trip around Pink City.The city Jaipur was founded in the year 1727 by the then Rajput Ruller Maharaja Jai sing2 after whom the city is named.It is the earliest planned city of Mordern India which is designed by Vidyadhar Bhatttachary.Currently this is the capital city of Largest State of the country Rajasthan.

Jaipur 2nd Day Tour

 Day-2 On day 2, after breakfast first go to visit the three famous forts of Jaipur city.The three forts of Jaipur are Jaigarh, Nahargarh and Amber Fort.A reserved car will charge around Rs2500 for a whole day trip.First go to Jaigarh fort.We stayed near Jaipur station and it took around 40 minutes to reach Jaigrah fort fromthat place.After crossing the main city territory, you will be exposed to the rustic beauty of the Aravalli hills.Needless to say, that will be an amazing experience. Jaigrah fort is situated on top of a hill which is locally known as “Cheel ka teela”which means Hill of Eagles.The fort was built in the year 1726 by Swai jai Singh II.The fort is surrounded by a thick red sand stone wall.You can enjoy a walk around the fort wall and experience the past glory of this fort.From the small opening of the fort wall you can see the beautiful Maota Lake at a distanceand the gorgeous Jaipur city lying at the base of this hill.And it is famously known as the Fort of Victory as it was never conquered.Right now, the fort houses & Jaivana which is the largest canon on wheels.Currently, Indian Army is taking care of this canon.This fort is a major tourist attraction of Jaipur city and experiences a large number of visitors every day.The entry fee here is Rs 150 per person for foreigners and Rs 70 person for Indian tourists.The fort is open from 9 Am to 5 PM.From Jaigarh fort go to visit Nahargarh fort. Nahargarh Fort is another major fort of Jaipur city.Situated on the edge of Aravalli Hills this fort is famous for amazing views of the surroundings.The view of Jaipur city from here is worth mentioning. Nahargarh Fort was built in the year 1734 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II.Entry fee here is Rs 20 per head for Indian tourists and Rs 70 per head for foreigners.The fort is open from 10 Am to 5 PM all days.After entering the fort, first go to see the Wax Museum and a model of ancient Sheesh Mahal. You have to purchase separate ticket to enter the premises.The ticket price here is Rs 150 per person.Next, go to see the water tank of the fort.In ancient time, the royals used to store their daily usage water here.Behind the water tank there is a step well.This step well is famous for its stunning architecture.From there go to visit Madhavendra  Bhavan. It is the summer palace of the royal family.The palace has 9 identical two-story suites, all of these suites were once the residence of the nine queens of Jaipur.Every apartment had the name of the queen written on top of the entrance.The main attractive part of this palace is its roof.It is famous for its amazing views of the surrounding city.You can enjoy a walk around this roof.Inside Nahargarh fort, there is a fine dining restaurant “Once Upon a time”.You can enjoy your lunch here.From Nahargarh fort go to visit Amber fort.Here, you have to park your reserved car at the base of the hill.From there either take a jeep or enjoy elephant ride to reach the main Fort complex.The fare of a jeep is Rs 500 for 6 people and the elephant ride will cost Rs 1100 for2 people.The Jeep enters the fort from the back side and you have to get down outside the main entrance. From there you have to cover the fort tour on foot.If you are taking elephant ride then it will bring you straight to the first court yard through the front gate.There are three courtyards inside Amber fort.After crossing the main entrance of the fort you will enter into the first courtyard.At the far end of this courtyard, stands the Temple of Shila Devi.Through another pathway beside the temple entrance you will be able to enter into the second courtyard of the Fort.In the second courtyard, first, visit the Diwan-i-am or the public audience hall.Passing the Diwan i am, you will find the beautifully designed gate Ganesh Pol.Entering through which you will come to the main palace complex.On one side of the palace complex stands the famous Sheesh Mahal or the main residence of the king.On the walls of Sheesh Mahal, you can see the beautiful artwork of thousands of convex mirrors. On the other side of the ground, you will see the Sukh Mahal or the summer and monsoon palace of the queen.Here, you can see a passage inside the queen’s bedroom.Once, water used to flow through this passage in order to make this room cool in the summer days.In between these two palaces, lies a beautiful garden.Passing this ground you will enter into the women’s quarter where the palaces of 12 queens of the king stand.Each palace had a two-story construction in which there were a separate bedroom, dining room and dressing room.At the centre of this women’s quarter, lies the third courtyard of the palace.This was a highly secured place.There is a two-story structure which surrounds this courtyard.At the back side of the main palace, there was the royal kitchen.Here you can see the huge cooking pots which were used for cooking in past days.Entry fee here is Rs 100 for Indian tourists and Rs 550 for Foreigners.Amber fort is open from 10 am to 5.30 pm.In the evening you can enjoy light and sound show here.The ticket price is Rs 150 per person.From Amber fort, go to visit Jal Mahal.The Jal Mahal palace is an architectural brilliance.The palace was built in red sandstone and is a five-storied structure, of which four floors remain underwater when the lake is full.Right now, it is not accessible to tourists.You can enjoy the beauty of Jal Mahal from the side of the Lake.Day-3 On day 3 morning, first go to visit Albert Hall Museum.Albert Hall is the oldest museum and the State Museum of Rajasthan.It is also called the Government Central Museum.In the front hall of this museum, you can see beautiful Paintings of all the kings of Jaipur. In the inner hall, you can see a rich collection of jewelry, carpets, stone and metal sculpture sand crystal artworks.Ticket fare is Rs 10 per head for Indian tourists and Rs 150 for foreigners.The museum is open from 9 Am to 5 PM.From Albert Hall Museum go to City Palace and Hawa Mahal. The City Palace is famous for its magnificent architecture and is one of the major tourist attractions of the city.It was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh during the years 1729 to 1732.From there go to visit Hawa Mahal.Hawa Mahal was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in the year 1799.It derives its name from its unique structure, which is a network of small windows that allowscool wind to enter the palace to keep it comfortable during the hot summer days. Hawa Mahal palace is a five-story building.It has been decorated with 953 tiny windows which are also known as Jharokhas. Each Jharokha is designed with gorgeous latticework.There is a slop in every floor that leads to another floor.Only the fourth floor has a steep stair case that leads to fifth floor.From the top of the palace, you can get a dazzling view of the City Palace, Jantar Mantar,and Siredeori Bazar.The entry fee here is Rs 40 per head for Indian visitors.The Palace is open for the tourists from 9AM to 5PMFrom there, go to visit Jantar Mantar.Jantar Mantar is the largest stone astronomical observatory in the world.Due to its rich cultural and scientific value, Jantar Mantar of Jaipur is in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.There are numerous hotels and resorts available in Jaipur.A good quality mid-level hotel will cost around Rs 1600 to 2000 per day.The total package will cost around Rs 18000 per couple.Please let us know your opinion in the comment section below.Your comments mean a lot to us.Thanks for Reading.
